Review of Motorola Moto G

The Moto G is absolutely worth the price. With excellent performance and simple design, the smartphone is perfect for anyone looking for a inexpensive Android smartphone.

Google acquired Motorola for about a billion and recently sold it to Lenovo for only a billion. Although all this is strange, the development prompted Motorola to produce “Moto G”, one of the lowest Android smartphones. with specifications that are almost as good as those of the Nexus 4.

The Moto G, which was launched in India at the time of writing, has attracted a lot of attention due to the combination of speculative prices and healthy specifications. The smartphone officially became the price of the 16 GB version and RS.12,499 for the 8 GB version. Let’s see if the smartphone offers a better price-quality ratio.

Specifications of Moto G

The smartphone has an IPS display with 720p – 4.5 inches, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400, 1 Gb of RAM, 8 Gb / 16 Gb of internal memory, 5 Mp rear camera with LED flash, 1.3MP front camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, 2070 mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

Design and construction

The Moto G does not have an eye-catching design, but a simple, no-frills design and looks very similar to the older brother Moto X. The screen of the smartphone is an IPS panel, which measures 4.5 inches and has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The screen quality is quite good compared to the phones of the same series. The glass at the top of the screen completely covers the front of the smartphone and is prone to smudges and fingerprints.

On the screen there is a 1.3 MP camera, the usual headphones and sensors. On the right edge are the buttons for locking / on / off and volume control. Both have a chrome-plated surface. The top has the 3.5mm audio jack and the bottom has a microUSB connector. On the back you can see the 5MP camera with LED flash and speaker grille. The back panel is made of removable plastic. When removing the control panel, the microSIM card slot and the 2070 mAh battery (which cannot be replaced by the user) are displayed. You can also choose from a variety of colored backrests available for the Moto G.

The back of the Moto G has a slight bulge, which gives it a nice curve that fits well in the hand. However, the smartphone seems to be quite heavy, given its size. Overall, we are very satisfied with the design and Motorola has done a good job with the Moto G.
